Hook & Dine
Hook & Dine is a game written in GDScript. Its main inspiration is the game Bubble Bobble, developed by Taito in 1986. Many elements are directly inspired by it, such as the simple and recognizable design of objects and characters, multiplayer through the same device, teleportation zones, and time pressure introduced by a powerful enemy.
There are also other elements influenced by other games. The goal was to create a modern reinterpretation of Bubble Bobble using these new elements.
This is my first attempt at a finished product, so I’d really appreciate any feedback!
